On the Sidelines S1E30: Mariners stay undefeated, Storm live to see another day

The Seahawks got their first win of the season in Pittsburgh in a dominant, well-rounded performance. Ethan and D-Jack go through the game and evaluate the offense's growth in week two as well as how the defense was able to manage the absence of Devon Witherspoon. They also preview the Seahawks' week three matchup with the New Orleans Saints and highlight which players to watch out for on both sides of the ball for both squads. The Mariners remain undefeated in the Etsy Witch era winning their 10th straight game featuring more history from Cal Raleigh. Ethan and D Jack try to find more words for how impressive the Big Dumper has been this year and go through some other key contributors that have vaulted the Mariners up to first place in the division and within two games of a first-round bye. After an embarrassing performance in game one, the Storm used a 14-point second half comeback to take down the Las Vegas Aces in game two in an elimination game snapping the Aces' 17-game winning streak. That sets up a game three in Vegas that D Jack expects them to win. Finally, Ethan and D Jack recap the NFL pick standings with a new leader at the top and make their picks for week three including some bold underdog selections.

Your Seattle Sounders are CHAMPIONS as they beat Lionel Messi and Inter Miami 3-0 to win Leagues Cup. Niko Moreno of Sounder at Heart and Pulso Sports joins Ethan and D-Jack to break down the match, look ahead to MLS play, and discuss the brawl right after the final whistle. The Seahawks finally start their season on Sunday and it's a big one against the San Francisco 49ers. Ethan and D-Jack go through what they're looking to see from the Hawks on both sides of the ball. The Huskies and Cougs both won their opening games but in much different fashions. Ethan goes through his takeaways from each game and explains why he's even more excited to see the Apple Cup after seeing both teams play.
