Friday the 13th will be a nice quiet weather day in the Pacific Northwest with increasing clouds and rain hitting late.

Seattle weather: More rain, cooler temperatures on the way Thursday

It was a beautiful day across the region as we enjoyed a brief dry break ahead of the next system, which is already on its way.

The Puget Sound area is enjoying sunshine and a dry start to Wednesday, but rain is knocking on the door and set to arrive tonight.

Isolated showers will push through Western Washington today, but more sunshine will be in the mix with highs staying cool, in the mid 50s.

Seattle weather: Chilly for Mother's Day, brief drying later this week

A cool and showery Mother's day across the Pacific Northwest

Cool and showery conditions continue to be our theme.  We only saw 55 at the airport today and that's 10 degrees below average. 

Isolated thunderstorms and mountain snow Mother's Day weekend

Mother's Day will be chilly with mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies. A couple showers and thunderstorms could bubble up, but it'll be much drier than Saturday's rain.

Another day of below average temperatures across the Pacific Northwest.  Highs Friday only climbing into the low to mid 50s.  Seattle hit 55 today.  Our average high temperature jumps to 65 Saturday.
