Gang of car vandals caught on camera; wanted in Bellevue
WANTED IN BELLEVUE -- Caught on a homeowner's camera -- a bunch of punk vandals in a car -- on a crime spree around Bellevue. "They randomly were throwing rocks into the vehicles that were lined up on the street,” says Bellevue police Ofc. Carla Iafrate. “They were breaking windows. Throwing rocks into garage doors, and hard enough that they dented the garage door.” And hard enough to break the homeowner's camera too -- the one guy's rock skipping off the car, and hitting right next to the camera, causing it to go black -- but not before the homeowner's could get a description of them. Detectives say the guy in the back seat looks ‘shaggy’, had a no-sleeve t-shirt. He’s the one that throws the rock at the car that damages the camera. The guy you gets out of the front passenger seat looks like he has a vest on. He’s the one detectives say threw a rock at the homeowner’s living room window. There were two more suspects in that light-colored, four-door car who we never see, so a total of at least four of them out there. Police say they also slashed several car tires.
