LIVE UPDATES: Icy, slick road conditions as widespread snow falls in western WA
SEATTLE - Snow showers continue to fall throughout western Washington on Wednesday, causing slick and icy road conditions throughout the region.
What we know:
According to Chief Meteorologist Brian MacMillan, on Wednesday morning through the afternoon there will be a rain and snow mix, and additional snow accumulation is possible in the evening into Thursday morning.
Temperatures remain cold, especially in Whatcom County where windchill readings will drop into the single digits. A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect there till 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

4 p.m.: More snow on the way Wednesday night, Thursday morning
The latest forecast for western Washington points to more snow falling Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
WSDOT is urging drivers to plan ahead.
11:15 am.: SDOT on 24-hour weather response mode
The Seattle Department of Transportation said its crews have been on a 24-hour weather response all week.
The department also has real-time updates with their Winter Weather Response Map.
11:09 a.m.: Sea-Tac Airport delays
FlightAware.com reported 114 delays for Wednesday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
9:40 a.m.: WSDOT's plows will be out
WSDOT said its crews will be out day and night clearing roadways.
9:10 a.m.: More delays at Sea-Tac Airport
As of 9 a.m., FlightAware reported 45 flight delays at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
There are still 19 cancelations.
Most of the delays and cancelations are Alaska Airlines flights.
9:05 a.m.: Waste and cycling services in Seattle impacted
Due to icy road conditions, Seattle Public Utilities said its residential garbage, recycling and food/yard waste collection will be impacted.
Customers with Thursday and Friday pickup will also be impacted.
8:45 a.m.: I-90 travel times unavailable with WSDOT
The Washington State Department of Transportation said it is working on a contract to get a new travel time provider.
WSDOT said anyone looking for travel times should use their navigation apps.
8:37 a.m.: 2-hour delay for WDFW offices
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife said its offices in the North Puget Sound Region are on a two-hour delay due to snow and ice.
Regional headquarters in Mill creek will open at 11 a.m.
8:30 a.m.: Adjustments for Sumner's waste and recycling services
The city of Sumner said Murrey's Disposal service will have an adjusted schedule for Wednesday.
Commercial services will be normal, residential services are delayed starting at 8 a.m. and yard debris is canceled.
8:10 a.m.: Sound Transit delays
Some of Sound Transit's routes are delayed due to road conditions.
This went into effect Wednesday morning.
7:58 a.m.: King County Metro on snow routes
Buses routes in parts of King County are on snow routes and the RapidRide G Line is temporarily replaced by snow shuttle Route 90.
King County Metro has listed their service changes on its website.
7:55 a.m.: Seattle Public Schools delayed due to snow
Seattle Public Schools said on Feb. 5 that all schools would conduct remote instruction today with a two-hour delay, according to a statement from the Office of Public Affairs.

The University of Washington announced that on-site operations will be delayed until 10 a.m. at its Seattle campus due to icy conditions in the area.
6:15 a.m.: Crews continue to clear roadways
Officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation are clearing roads Wednesday morning.
5:30 a.m.: Several delays and cancelations have been reported out of Sea-Tac
According to FlightAware.com, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport reported 19 delays and 19 cancelations for Wednesday.
5:15 a.m.: School delays and closures
Multiple school districts and campuses have announced closures and delays for Wednesday due to the wintry weather conditions.
