Seattle weather: Another long dry stretch begins this weekend
SEATTLE - A frontal system will bring rain, breezy wind and mountain snow on Friday with drier conditions ahead for the weekend.
Widespread rain hit western Washington Friday morning. The rest of the day will feature drier conditions with partly cloudy skies, except for a possible Puget Sound Convergence Zone forming in Snohomish County or northern King County.

Mountain snow expected in WA this weekend
The convergence zone will likely amplify snow totals over areas near Stevens Pass. Other passes could see 4 to 8 inches of snow through Saturday.

The lowlands will remain dry this weekend with mostly cloudy skies on Saturday and fewer clouds on Sunday.
High pressure will build over western Washington next week, bringing a nice stretch of dry weather. Morning clouds and afternoon sunshine will be the mainstay with chilly mornings and mild afternoons.
