Seattle police investigating deadly shooting on Capitol Hill
SEATTLE - Seattle police are investigating a deadly shooting on New Year's Eve morning in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Few details were immediately known, but police said a homicide investigation was underway near the intersection of Broadway and Pike St. near the QFC at Harvard Market.
According to the Seattle Fire Department, a man believed to be about 25 years old died at the scene.
The intersection was blocked off by crime scene tape. Detectives remained at the scene as of 6:00 a.m. Evidence markers could be seen around the area.
