Man on bail for meth possession shows up at courthouse with -- what else? -- meth pipe
SEATTLE -- A deputy at the Cowlitz County Hall of Justice apprehended a man Tuesday who deposited a meth pipe into the security checkpoint's x-ray tray.
While it sounds like a not-so-smart move, what's even stranger is why the man was there in the first place -- he was scheduled to appear before a judge on charges of methamphetamine possession and obstructing an officer.
After the man was arrested, he told police that he was simply bringing the pipe to the courthouse to turn it in. He was arrested and booked on charges of possession of methamphetamine.
