His neighbors express sympathy saying his life was worth more than a vehicle. This comes just days after 60 cars were broken into in Renton in one night. Suspects from both cases remain on the run as police ask the public for help if they have street facing cameras.

Tacoma prepares for snow, warming shelters open
In Tacoma Street operation crews are preparing for those winter conditions. The city has 13 plows, three deicing trucks and two pickup trucks and plan to keep going all the way through the storm. The city also reminding everybody that they plow and de-ice primary streets first, then secondary routes.
