After enjoying spectacular sunshine and highs in the low 70s for many on Saturday afternoon, noticeably cooler and cloudier weather is returning to western Washington on Sunday.

A beautiful day around Western Washington today!  Plentiful sunshine with highs warming to the upper 60's and low 70's.  The ridge of high pressure kept skies dry today, but will slowly move off the east overnight and early Sunday. 

Life-threatening flooding and dangerous severe weather pummeled large swaths of the nation's heartland again Friday night for the third night in a row.

Since Wednesday, more than a foot of rain has now fallen in parts of Kentucky. A 9-year-old boy was tragically caught in a rushing flood Friday while walking to school.

Saturday's highs will be like those we typically experience in early June! Highs will soar into the upper 60s for many in Central and South Puget Sound. Some communities in eastern King and Pierce Counties could see highs in the low 70s. 

After hitting highs in the mid 60s on Friday, we will be even warmer on Saturday with highs nearing 70 degrees.
