An atmospheric river arrives on Sunday with a soggy end to the weekend.  Rainfall amounts will range from 2–5" in the mountains, 1–3" possible along the coast and about 1" in the Puget Sound lowlands.  Rain will be moderate to heavy with gusty winds at times. 

After a mostly cloudy and dry start to the day, increasing rain is forecast in Western Washington between tonight and Monday. 

It will be a dry start to the Saturday with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies.

High pressure will settle in over the Pacific Northwest bringing drier weather through Saturday afternoon.

We will see milder temperatures Friday and into the weekend, highs reaching the upper 40s to low 50s.

Showers will taper off Thursday night for most of the Puget Sound area, leading to a stretch of drier weather to end the week.

Grab your rain jacket and umbrella! Scattered showers are forecast on Wednesday with pockets of heavier showers and more snow in the Cascades.

Heavy snow Wednesday brought another foot of snow to the Cascades, which was great for the ski slopes, but not so great for some of the roads.

Stevens Pass Ski Resort received nearly two feet of fresh snow in the last 24 hours, but a power outage is keeping skiers off of the slopes.
