Seattle weather: Heating up through Tuesday

The FOX 13 Weather team has issued a Weather Alert Day for Monday and Tuesday as temperatures warm nearing 90 degrees at Sea-Tac and even warmer in the foothills and Pierce County. 

Seattle weather: Heat Advisory Begins Sunday

Temperatures continue to heat up around the region.  A Heat Advisory will go into effect at 2pm on Sunday till 10pm on Tuesday.  The Yakima Valley and spots eastward will see even hotter temperatures, prompting an Extreme Heat Warning for the same timeframe. 

Hotter, slightly hazier weather this weekend in Seattle

We're tracking hotter weather in the coming days in the Seattle area. Through Tuesday, air quality could drop to at least "moderate" levels at times if not worse. We don't expect major air quality issues at this time, but it could affect those whose health is sensitive to smoke. Keep in mind: air quality forecasting is challenging and subject to change, so stick with us!Highs Saturday afternoon will lift to the upper 70s to the low 80s. You can plan on abundant, generous sunshine. Seattle weather: 80 degree heat returns Sunday

After a blast of September-like weather Wednesday and Thursday, we're tracking a gradual warm-up in Seattle in the days ahead. Between Sunday and Tuesday, highs will soar into the 80s. Fire danger will be elevated during this time.

Seattle weather: Slow warm up into the weekend

High temperatures Friday will warm a few degrees as high pressure starts to build offshore. Highs will warm to the mid to upper 70s, even some spots in the low 80s.
