Weather Alert Day: Heavy mountain snow, strong winds and thunderstorms

*T-STORMS & LOWLAND RAIN/SNOW MIX*
A robust spring storm is moving across Western Washington this afternoon. A strong convergence zone is bringing gusts of 55mph, heavy downpours, and rain/snow mix in Snohomish County. Activity will continue through this evening with more thunderstorm activity. The SPC has placed all of Western WA under the threat for t-storms that can produce small hail and heavy downpours today.

*WIND ADVISORY*

Wind gusts will peak this afternoon/evening. There are already thousands of power outages in Snohomish, Island and Jefferson counties and reports of wind damage in Snohomish County. Expect more to come.

*WINTER STORM WARNING & WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY*
Snow is now falling in our mountain passes and WSDOT is now issuing restrictions! Expect heavy blowing snow in the Cascades through Monday morning. Gusts will be as high as 40-45mph.
Snow accumulations through Monday morning:
8"-12" Snoqualmie Pass
12"-18" Stevens Pass
12"-18" White Pass

*NEXT WEEK*
Conditions greatly improve next week. Expect sunshine through midweek, with highs in the 60s by Wednesday! There's a chance for rain Thursday through Saturday.
