Accused woman-abuser who terrified young boy -- arrested by Seattle police
FUGITIVE CAPTURED July 21, 2013 -- Seattle police arrested Curtis Rodgers on Aurora Ave. on Sunday. He's been booked into the King County Jail. Bail was denied for his Department of Corrections Escape warrant. FUGITIVE WANTED IN SEATTLE June 21, 2012 -- Curtis Rodgers, has 17 felony convictions and another 34 misdemeanors. He's wanted now on a $150,000 arrest warrant in Seattle, after detectives say he broke into his sister’s home, beat his girlfriend -- and terrified an 11-year-old boy who saw it all. The chaos woke the boy's father up -- who tried to stop Rodgers. “The 11-year-old boy in this case that observed the actual assault was so terrified, that he actually fled the house, in the dark, ran to a fire station and called the cops,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “The 11-year-old is so nervous and so scared, he won't leave his father's side, until he physically sees the suspect in handcuffs, and actually placed in the patrol car." Rodgers bailed out of jail, never showed up for court, so now he's on the run. Here are the details on CURTIS WAYNE RODGERS, JR:
