JUST B talks 2025 rebranding, upcoming tour and irreplaceable image

Survival show programs, new releases, and a tour filled the schedule of JUST B members in 2024, and now they have even more planned for this year.

The six-member group debuted in 2021 and have since become known for their powerful vocalists, rappers, and personalities online.

The first three years of their career under BLUEDOT Entertainment has garnered them a fanbase across the world, but now in 2025 they are going through what they consider a group rebranding.

"We are on the way, on the journey of our kind of rebranding, like a more detailed branding for our team so we can show more diverse music for this year," says Geonu.

Part of that rebranding is the group’s continued journey into the rock genre.

While the groups had pop tracks with rock elements and instrumentation in the past with songs like "Get Away" and "ME=," in 2023 they released the title track "MEDUSA," diving deeper into the rock style which they continued last year with the song "Daddy’s Girl," and now with their latest single, "Still I Luv You," written by member DY.

"When we debuted, lots of composers and producers made songs for us, so we were able to release diverse songs with focus on stage performance. Compared to that time, now we are self-producing our music which helps us to express our emotions and colors. From now on, I believe we will have more chances to show ourselves, JUST B, through music," explains DY.

With a continued rock theme in recent releases, fans have wondered if this will be the style the group wants to rebrand to, but Bain says, "we can’t say we only want to do rock sounds. Now we love rock sounds, but we can change it, so look forward to it," further emphasizing the group’s ability to excel in multiple genres, and with DY producing more of their music, they hope to be more self-sustainable with their music.

The group participated in the survival show program "Road to Kingdom: ACE of ACE" in 2024, a show that put multiple established boy groups head to head in performances, and members Geonu and Bain participated in the vocal-based survival program, "Build Up" as well.

Those experiences helped the members grow as well as learn more about what kind of artists they want to be.

"‘Road to Kingdom' was such a good experience for us. Through the competition, we learned a lot about how we should express ourselves," says Bain.

Now with their year of rebranding beginning, the group has a lot of new plans, including an upcoming U.S. tour, just a year following their previous one.

Dates and locations have yet to be released.

Looking to the future, when it comes to what words they hope to be described as, they say they hope to be considered irreplaceable.

"Irreplaceable music, irreplaceable character image, the identity is just like, kind of like the one and only," Geonu explains.

And as they start the new year with their release of "Still I Luv You" and preparing for a new tour, they are hopeful for this new era they plan to bring to fans.

"This year, we changed our mindsets, like saying ‘rebranding’ a lot. Given that, we’re gonna do music that we want to perform and play, starting from this year. Even for visuals, we’ll try to think out of the box, try lots of new things…we want to be a band that you can find joy and recharge from. So, please stay tuned," concludes Bain.
