Highs will stay below seasonal average with temperatures only reaching the low 70s and mostly cloudy skies Tuesday.

Long awaited rain will make its way back into the Puget Sound area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

We're forecasting a three-day stretch of mostly cloudy weather. While there could be late afternoon sunbreaks in the coming days, the days will overall trend cloudier vs sunnier. 

After a cloudy and murky start to the day, sunshine will gradually reappear in Seattle this afternoon – making for beautiful weather for the Blue Angels performance later today. Tomorrow may be cloudier, so keep that in mind. 

Look for a mix of clouds and sun for most of the week with slightly below average afternoon highs. There is a slight chance of showers in the middle of next week.

Friday will bring another round of morning clouds and afternoon sunshine, with the Seafair weekend looking a bit cooler.

Temperatures on Friday will be similar, with the afternoon sunshine bringing temperatures into the upper 70s to the low 80s.

A large wildfire burning in Mason County could push smoke into the central and south Puget Sound areas Thursday.

Thursday's highs will be slightly cooler as we see a little more cloud cover in the morning and a weak system moving through the area.
