Avalanches kill snowmobilers in Idaho, Washington over the weekend

Two snowmobile riders were killed during separate avalanches in Idaho and Washington on Friday as a multi-day blizzard pounded the Northwest over the weekend.

SR 18 over Tiger Mountain Summit reopens after icy conditions, spinouts

Both directions of SR-18 were closed over Tiger Mountain Summit early Monday morning because of icy conditions and spinouts. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has since reopened SR-18 and lifted all travel restrictions.

Seattle weather: Chance for rain into the work week

The unseasonably cool weather continues in our area with highs today still running in the low to mid 40's in many spots.  A few locations like Port Angeles and Friday Harbor got a little warmer, into the upper 40's.  We are tracking some warmer temperatures by next weekend.
