The Northern Lights are expected to be visible across the northern U.S. on Thursday and possibly early Friday after a strong geomagnetic storm watch was issued.

It'll be a mostly cloudy start to Thursday with a few sprinkles, with afternoon sunbreaks and highs in the 60s and low 70s.

For those who like colder temperatures, rejoice! Much cooler weather is settling into Western Washington on Wednesday after high temps hit the 80s and 90s Tuesday. 

Wednesday will be much cooler compared to Tuesday, with highs back to the low 70s.

The roller-coaster temperatures will be on the down slide through Saturday. Along with cooler days, we will see chances of rain the next several days too.

Afternoon high temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s for Western Washington as high pressure continues to build.

Plenty of sunshine for Monday, whether you are out doing yard work or lucky enough to take in the M's game today.

We are coming off a beautiful weekend with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures. We will warm up even more by Tuesday with spots nearing 90 degrees.  This will also lead to a higher fire danger on Monday and Tuesday. 

By early in the work week, temperatures will reach the low to mid 80s in Seattle, with some inland locations potentially climbing even higher, particularly on Tuesday. This will turn around with an incoming marine layer by late week.
