The power is back on for neighbors living along SE 10th Street. It went out during Thursday’s windy weather. Wind caused a portion of a large maple tree to snap, taking down power lines in the process. While crews have restored power, the root of the issue remains.

Winds overall were not the strongest compared to what we see in the Pacific Northwest during the fall and winter seasons, but it was the first of the season – and that's what created problems.
