Temperatures Thursday will be in the upper 40s to low 50s, with afternoon sunbreaks.

Sunshine will return to the Seattle area by Friday with cool morning and comfortable daytime highs.

The Seattle Seahawks are once again teaming up with the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN) to monitor how much the ground shakes when fans cheer during Saturday’s playoff game at Lumen Field.

The Washington State Department of Transportation estimates it will cost at least $40 million to $50 million to repair infrastructure damaged by historic flooding that struck the region last month.

It will be a foggy start to Wednesday with areas of dense fog and even patchy drizzle.

While the rain has ended, some clouds are still hanging around this afternoon. They will start to clear out by the early evening hours. 

Highs Tuesday will be well above seasonal average with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 50s.

More sunshine and mild days ahead, with Tuesday afternoon nearing 60 degrees! Plenty of sunshine as we head into the weekend with afternoons in the 50s.

A rainy start to Monday as another round of rain arrives with the atmospheric river.  Rain may be moderate to heavy at times with an additional inch of rain possible along the coast, in the Olympics and North Cascades.  The Puget Sound lowlands could see about .25 to .50".  Rain will taper by Monday evening. 

High snow levels and rising river levels will continue as rounds of rain sweep into areas across western Washington through Monday.
