Sunshine and warmer late-summer weather returns Tuesday and Wednesday, with high temperatures in the 70s.

Clouds are clearing overnight and temperatures will be mild early Tuesday morning.  Expect lows in the upper 40s and low 50s in Western Washington. 

The lingering disturbance we've been tracking the last few days will bring one last push of showers before moving out.

People in Hawaii are bracing for another round of severe weather as Hurricane Lowell spins past the islands. The major Category 3 cyclone could bring heavy rains, flooding, and mudslides, as it cuts a path west of the state, the National Hurricane Center stated while issuing a tropical storm warning for two islands.

The big day is here!!! College football has returned with the annual Apple Cup kicking off today at Husky Stadium. The weather is looking fantastic for both tailgating and the game. Plenty of sunshine, so grab your school colors and your shades!

Hurricane Lowell is churning as a Category 4 hurricane about 600 miles south of Kauaʻi, packing maximum sustained winds of 155 mph.

Labor Day weekend has officially kicked off and there are plenty of fun things to do!  While there is a chance for a stray shower in the lowlands, along with mountain storms, the weekend won't be a complete washout. 

Saturday will be another mix of sun and clouds, but showers look to develop into the afternoon and early evening around the Cascades.

Other than a chance of showers Saturday night, Seattle will be mainly dry this weekend with highs in the 70s.
