A disturbance that has been sitting off the Oregon and California coast will finally start lifting its way north late Tuesday night and early Wednesday. Look for showers to increase overnight, mainly to our south.

Highs will be about 10 degrees cooler Tuesday with mostly cloudy skies and showers.

The weather will hold out for a nice Seattle evening, allow for an open roof Mariners game! Showers will return by mid-week, so keep those rain jackets close by.

The ridge of high pressure that was over us this past weekend will begin to move east.  A disturbance to our south will continue to push clouds into Western Washington on Monday.  Skies will be mostly cloudy, but dry.  The rain will hold off until Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Another nice day on Sunday as we wrap up the weekend.  A weather system will slide south along the coast on Sunday, but for most of western Washington, it’s more of a "near miss." We’ll keep mostly dry conditions, with a mix of clouds and sun.

An overturned ship matching the description of the one that went missing along with six crew members earlier this week has been located, the U.S. Coast Guard reported on Saturday.

Temperatures will warm nicely this weekend in western Washington with a mix of clouds and sunshine.

Sunday brings a warmer, partly sunny setup with highs reaching the low 70s, and that mild pattern continues into Monday with more clouds and highs again in the low 70s.

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for six people after losing contact with their disabled boat off the coast of Guam following Typhoon Sinlaku.
