Seattle weather: Wet south and dry north Monday

Areas south of Seattle will see light showers Monday afternoon, while the north end of the Puget Sound area stays dry. The Seattle wet season has arrived, here is our November outlook.

Seattle Weather: Damp Work Week Ahead

After a dry end to the weekend, another disturbance will swing in from the south.  Rain chances will increase throughout the day, mainly to the south.  Snow levels will hover around 4000' with a couple of inches forecast for the higher passes.

Quiet weather Sunday in Seattle with a gray workweek

After a drenching and gusty Saturday, much quieter weather is in store for the Seattle area on Sunday. Enjoy the fleeting sunbreaks today because darker skies are on tap for the workweek ahead. 

Seattle Weather: A Drier End to the Weekend

A stubborn convergence continues to bring additional showers to parts of Western Washington.  The Skykomish river near Gold Bar rose to about 15 feet earlier Saturday.  Some minor flooding in pastures and low-lying roads is possible overnight into early Sunday. 

Seattle weather: Dark, dreary, damp and occasionally windy

Saturday morning, the FOX 13 Weather Team issued a Weather Alert for times of heavy rain and gusty conditions. Thankfully, the winds this weekend are more short-lived and less forceful than the powerful gusts from last weekend. Still, there could be localized power outages and damages.
