Seattle weather: Dry and cool through Wednesday

High pressure over the Pacific Northwest will keep conditions dry and cool for the next two days.

Clear skies overnight led to very chilly morning temperatures Tuesday. Patchy dense fog will burn off with more mid to high level cloud cover expected by the afternoon.

Wednesday night and Thursday, a low pressure system will push onshore in Oregon, spinning rain into the Western Washington lowlands and snow into the Cascades. The heaviest rain will impact Northern California and southern Oregon.

After a few scattered showers on Friday, a more organized system will bring widespread rain and breezy winds on Saturday.

Snow will be possible at White and Stevens passes on Thursday and Friday, with snow levels lowering to below Snoqualmie Pass early next week.
