Winter Weather Advisory

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 5 a.m. Wednesday through 11 p.m. Thursday for snow in the Cascades. Several inches of snow are expected for the passes, especially above 3000'. Snow totals are looking to be between 4–8".

Winds will pick up on Wednesday with gusts between 35–45 mph along the coast and along the northern interior. Winds will also be breezy around the Puget Sound with gusts up to 35 mph.

Temperatures will be cooler Wednesday as colder air moves in behind the cold front. Highs will struggle to reach above 50 degrees for most of western Washington.

Showers will taper Thursday morning, with drier conditions returning by the evening. High pressure will build in, bringing more sunshine and warmer temperatures. Easter Weekend is still on track for sunshine and low 60s.
