Hope you enjoyed the spring-like weather this week, because an atmospheric river is cruising through the Seattle area on Saturday, just in time to soak your Super Bowl celebrations!

Sunshine increases this afternoon with April-like temperatures climbing into the upper 50s to low 60s around Puget Sound.

After enjoying this taste of spring the last few days, we will return to a more typical cool and wet pattern by the weekend.

A strong ridge of high pressure will bring spring-like weather to Western Washington through the end of the week.

The ridge of high pressure will expand northward into western Washington beginning Wednesday. Dry, mild days will settle into the region through this week.

The Pacific Northwest will be seeing a taste of spring this week, with unseasonably warm and dry conditions through Friday.

A soggy start to the week with showers around the region earlier Monday morning.

Seattle will see drier and warmer weather the rest of the work week with high temperatures nearing record territory.

Afternoon highs on Sunday were a little cooler in the wake of the early morning cold front.  Overnight lows on Sunday night will be similar with many spots dipping into the low to mid 40s. Skies will be mainly cloudy. 

After experiencing spring-like temperatures on Saturday, highs on Sunday will cool by a few degrees. A front Sunday morning will trigger a period of widespread rain. Showers will turn more hit-or-miss by Sunday afternoon.
