Morning clouds and fog to start Tuesday with a few lingering showers along the coast and northwest interior.

A mix of showers and sunshine is on tap for the work week in Seattle.

Well it all comes down to this…Super Bowl Sunday! The weather in Santa Clara at Levi's Stadium is looking great! Folks will wake up to some fog and drizzle, but it will clear out in time for the big game.  Skies will be partly cloudy with mild temperatures near 70 degrees. GO HAWKS!!!

On Saturday, we tracked a weak atmospheric river in Seattle. This particular type of atmospheric river is sometimes referred to as a ‘Pineapple Express.' This means it taps into tropical moisture near the Hawaiian Islands. 

Hope you enjoyed the spring-like weather this week, because an atmospheric river is cruising through the Seattle area on Saturday, just in time to soak your Super Bowl celebrations!

Sunshine increases this afternoon with April-like temperatures climbing into the upper 50s to low 60s around Puget Sound.

After enjoying this taste of spring the last few days, we will return to a more typical cool and wet pattern by the weekend.

A strong ridge of high pressure will bring spring-like weather to Western Washington through the end of the week.
