Weather Headlines: Wet and breezy Wednesday, chance of thunderstorms

Rain will increase overnight Tuesday into Wednesday with plenty of showers through the evening hours. Heavy rain at times and the potential for thunderstorms.

Most of Tuesday, western Washington will see the calm before a one-two punch of storm systems that will bring gusty wind and rain.

Seattle Weather: A Drier End to the Weekend

A stubborn convergence continues to bring additional showers to parts of Western Washington.  The Skykomish river near Gold Bar rose to about 15 feet earlier Saturday.  Some minor flooding in pastures and low-lying roads is possible overnight into early Sunday.

A new atmospheric river is bringing stiff winds and heavy rain to Western Washington this weekend, causing widespread issues across Puget Sound.

Seattle weather: Dark, dreary, damp and occasionally windy

Saturday morning, the FOX 13 Weather Team issued a Weather Alert for times of heavy rain and gusty conditions. Thankfully, the winds this weekend are more short-lived and less forceful than the powerful gusts from last weekend. Still, there could be localized power outages and damages.
