Hylebos Bridge in Tacoma to close for 4 days starting Monday

TACOMA, Wash. - The Hylebos Bridge in the Port of Tacoma is expected to close from March 15 to March 19 for maintenance.
Port of Tacoma drivers who need to access the peninsula should use Taylor Way instead, according to the city.
The closure is part of a larger project by the city to upgrade Taylor Way. The city said the road's pavement wasn’t designed to carry heavy truckloads and is being reconstructed.
