Program to clear up encampments running out of money

Governor Jay Inslee touted the "Encampment Resolution Program," which rolled out in 2022. Since then, it?s funded 46 encampment cleanups across Washington, and more than 1,000 people have been placed in permanent housing.

Inslee signs 'Strippers' Bill of Rights' into law

A bill designed to protect exotic dancers, better known as the "Strippers' Bill of Rights," has gotten its official stamp of approval from Gov. Inslee. With Inslee's signature, the law will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2025. The bill also greenlights sale of alcohol in adult venues.
