The next round of widespread rain hits Seattle Tuesday after sunset through early Wednesday morning.

Tuesday's highs will be in the mid 50s with mostly cloudy skies for most of the day. Rain and wind by the evening commute.

The next seven days will bring rounds of rain and cool temperatures to the Puget Sound area.

After a windstorm Saturday night left tens of thousands without power in Puget Sound, winds are easing in Seattle and around the region on Sunday. Snow over Stevens and White Passes through tonight could cause occasional issues for drivers. 

The active and stormy weather continues in the Seattle area through Saturday. This afternoon and tonight, we're forecasting moderately strong winds that could result in additional power outages and tree limbs coming down. 

It will be cooler Saturday with highs in the mid 50s, scattered showers and gusty winds.

Some areas of the region could see wind gusts up to 50 mph.

This fall system is going to bring impacts for the work commute Friday, potential road flooding and downed leaves/branches. Winds will be strongest tonight into Friday and again on Saturday.

Thursday will be the last quiet day for a while, as a couple of strong systems take aim at western Washington.
