Our late-season heat wave is finally over! Highs will still be warm, but it will be much more manageable than the last several days.

High temperatures on Wednesday will be around 10 degrees cooler, but will remain above the seasonal average. Mostly cloudy skies along with smoke aloft will make for a grayer day.

We're tracking one more day of hot temperatures before a gentle cooldown gets underway on Wednesday.

A Heat Advisory and Extreme Heat Warning remain in effect for Western Washington through Wednesday morning.

A Weather Alert is in effect for Western Washington until early Wednesday morning for blistering heat and elevated overnight lows.

More blistering heat is forecast for the Seattle area through at least Monday with a gradual cooling around the region on Tuesday. Fire danger remains elevated over the mountains. 

A somewhat rare extreme heat warning is posted for the Seattle area through early Tuesday due to sweltering temperatures and elevated overnight lows. Multiple heat alerts are in effect elsewhere in western Washington to account for widespread highs in the mid 80s to mid 90s.

A Heat Advisory and Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for Western Washington through Tuesday morning. The warning now includes the Seattle and Tacoma metro areas with highs in the 90s this weekend.
