After experiencing spring-like temperatures on Saturday, highs on Sunday will cool by a few degrees. A front Sunday morning will trigger a period of widespread rain. Showers will turn more hit-or-miss by Sunday afternoon. 

After near record highs on Saturday afternoon, the evening will remain mild with overnight lows in the mid to upper 40s.  Temperatures will fall to near freezing in the passes as a cold front sweeps through late Saturday and early Sunday. 

Decades ago, Seattle saw its first, and only, day with a recorded temperature of zero degrees Fahrenheit. While a brutal arctic freeze hit the Emerald City on Jan. 31, 1950, today we saw temps reach a near record high.

Temperatures in Seattle on Saturday will be like those commonly felt in April – not January.

Temperatures will remain well above average for the next several days around the Puget Sound area with a nice Saturday ahead.

The rain train is back in Seattle! Occasional rain and breezy pockets are on tap for Western Washington to wrap the workweek.

On and off rain showers will continue through Saturday morning around the greater Puget Sound area.

Seattle is gearing up for rounds of wet and slightly breezy weather in the coming days. 

Wet weather will stick around the next few days with a slight chance lingering into the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be more dry than wet with highs well above average, nearing almost 60 degrees.

The Frisco community is mourning after two 16-year-old girls died when their sled, being towed by a Jeep, struck a tree on Sunday.
