A potent atmospheric river arrives on Christmas Day.  Conditions will be blustery with increasing wind along the coast, through the Inlet and for some portions of the North Sound.  Heavy lowland rain and mountain snow will increase throughout the morning and into the evening.

Another strong storm system is pushing winds into western Washington, which could possibly lead to power outages and minor damage.

Yet another "bomb cyclone" storm will likely develop in the Pacific Ocean today, and while this will trigger strong winds in the east Puget Sound lowlands – thankfully, winds won’t be nearly as strong or long-lasting as the last bomb cyclone from November.
