Smoky skies for Western WA Sunday as critical fire weather continues to be elevated for the Cascades and Eastern WA. Much of the state remains under an Air Quality Alert.

Newly obtained video from Spokane County shows residents evacuating their homes due to the rapidly spreading Gray Fire. Spokane County declared a State of Emergency on Saturday. The fire has turned deadly, and is currently at 9,500 acres and 0% contained.

Dry, hot conditions made it easy for a brush fire to take off in Lakewood on Wednesday, forcing evacuations of several neighborhoods. Crews were able to get the upper hand, saving homes and lives in the process.
