After a warm end to the weekend with highs hitting 90 degrees at Sea-Tac, we'll see a slightly cooler afternoon on Monday. Highs will range from the 60s in the coastal area to the upper 70s in the Puget Sound Interior. 

As temperatures across western Washington take their first summer surge of July, county officials are preparing their cooling shelters for people in the region who need a safe space to cool off.
