Weather Forecast

Tuesday will start with morning clouds and patchy areas of fog, but the afternoon is looking mainly dry for the lowlands.

On and off showers possible throughout the week with additional snow chances in the mountains. Drier skies by the weekend with frosty mornings, especially Sunday morning.

Today we were forecasting highs in the upper 40s to the low 50s with mostly cloudy skies and a few sunbreaks mixed in. At times, rain was heavy, and other moments delivered quick glimpses of sunshine.

A deep low in the Pacific will force a series of fronts through the region.  The first brought rain to the area on Saturday, with the second quickly on its heels arriving early Sunday.  

A Wind Advisory remains in effect through 10 a.m. Sunday for the Cascade foothills, valleys and ‘gap’ communities — including Monroe, Gold Bar, Enumclaw, North Bend, and Eatonville — where easterly to southeasterly gusts are forecast to reach 40 to 50 mph.

Our next round of showers return Saturday morning with a mix of rain and snow showers for some.

Wet weather increases by daybreak Saturday with a brief rain-snow mix possible in the lowlands Saturday morning, mainly across the South Sound and southwestern interior.

Friday will be again on the cooler side, only reaching the low to mid 40s. We will sees mostly cloudy skies with a few sunbreaks.

Looking ahead, Friday morning will start cold again with many locations dipping below freezing. Skies remain mostly dry Friday with increasing clouds by daybreak.

Chilly temperatures and skies are looking mostly dry for Thursday, with a few clouds.
