A new study found that if “The Big One" hit the Pacific Northwest, it could trigger an even bigger earthquake and affect cities up and down the West Coast.

Here's a look at the current wildfires burning across WA and where they are on the map.

Both directions of Blewett Pass (US-97) are closed due to weather and crashes on Monday morning.

The Puget Sound area will see breezy winds and sunshine Monday with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

The first snow of the season arrived in the higher elevations on Sunday.  A cold low crossed through the region, lowering snow levels and bringing some thunder, lightning and heavy rain to the lowlands along with it.

Thunderstorms brought lightning, hail, and gusty winds to parts of western Washington Sunday evening.

Expect more wet weather and breezy conditions to cap off the weekend as western Washington highlands see first autumnal snowfall and elevated winds sweep the area.

Scattered showers Saturday night and into Sunday morning, especially along a convergence zone.  On Sunday, a colder area of low pressure will arrive with more rain and also the first snow of the season in the Cascades. 

We're forecasting cooler, wetter and breezier weather in Seattle for this weekend. There's even a chance for mountain snow between Sunday and Monday morning!

It will be another cooler day with highs only in the mid to upper 50s, scattered showers and breezy winds.
