We're forecasting a three-day stretch of mostly cloudy weather. While there could be late afternoon sunbreaks in the coming days, the days will overall trend cloudier vs sunnier. 

Wildfire smoke from the Bear Gulch fire will once again lead to some hazy skies on Sunday.  Even with some of the smoke in the air overall, air quality has been good.  The hazy skies are making our sunsets very colorful.

After a cloudy and murky start to the day, sunshine will gradually reappear in Seattle this afternoon – making for beautiful weather for the Blue Angels performance later today. Tomorrow may be cloudier, so keep that in mind. 

Hurricane Gil is expected to move west-northwest as it continues its trek into the Central Pacific Ocean.

Look for a mix of clouds and sun for most of the week with slightly below average afternoon highs. There is a slight chance of showers in the middle of next week.

Friday will bring another round of morning clouds and afternoon sunshine, with the Seafair weekend looking a bit cooler.

Temperatures on Friday will be similar, with the afternoon sunshine bringing temperatures into the upper 70s to the low 80s.

The Stud Horse Fire burning near Winthrop in Okanogan County is now 100% contained, prompting officials to lift all evacuation levels in the area. 

A large wildfire burning in Mason County could push smoke into the central and south Puget Sound areas Thursday.

A magnitude 2.8 earthquake struck near Fall City, Washington, early Thursday morning.
