70 shots fired in West Seattle overnight shooting

SEATTLE - More than 70 shots were fired in West Seattle's Alki neighborhood early Friday morning, striking nearby windows and buildings.
Seattle police said the shooting happened overnight along the northmost point of Alki Avenue Southwest, as multiple residents called 911 to report a shooting between two people.
Officers say they recovered more than 70 bullet shell casings at the scene, along with a spring from an extended magazine.
A nearby condominium complex also had a window shot out. No injuries were reported.
Police did not release information about what led up to the shooting or any possible suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact Seattle Police.
