Seattle will likely break the record on Tuesday. Here's how warm it will get:

An atmospheric river is taking aim at western Washington, blasting drenching rain to parts of the region today through Monday. 

While mostly dry weather is expected today in Seattle, an atmospheric river will take aim at western Washington Saturday night. This will trigger widespread rain overnight through much of the day Sunday. 

Rounds of heavy lowland rain tonight will transition into mountain snow, making pass travel difficult.

For the first weekend of spring, we’re forecasting relatively cool, cloudy and damp conditions around western Washington.

Friday will be rainy and windy, with lots of snow in the mountains.

Heavier rain and significant mountain snow will hit western Washington Thursday night into Friday morning.

After some off and on showers, we will see clouds early Thursday morning, light showers by midday and then rain by the afternoon.

After a mainly dry start to Wednesday, widespread rain, breezy wind, and mountain snow will return to Western Washington on Wednesday evening.
