FOX 13 Seattle Meteorologist Ilona McCauley is tracking a storm Tuesday night across western Washington, with some mountain passes expected to see freezing rain overnight!

Atmospheric river to bring soaking rain and wind to the Seattle area Tuesday

An approaching atmospheric river will bring significant rain and gusty winds to Western Washington Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

Seattle weather: Mountain snow and lowland rain Monday

Showers will continue overnight into Monday morning. It will be a wet start to the day with more showers scattered in the afternoon.

Seattle weather: A break from the rain Sunday

Sunday will offer up a mix of clouds and sunshine with mainly dry conditions, but the next wet weather system is set to hit early Monday.

Seattle weather: Winds relax Sunday, winter storms remain in Cascades

Gusty winds blew into Western Washington overnight and early Saturday.  Winds peaked around 50-60 mph around the coast, the Inlet and even into portions of the North Sound near Everett.  Power outages and some minor tree damage were reported around the area.  The winds will continue to relax throughout the night and Sunday.

A strong storm system is moving through Western Washington on Saturday morning bringing gusty wind, lowland rain, mountain snow, and coastal flooding.

Seattle weather: Wet, windy with coastal flooding

An active start to the weekend with lowland rain, mountain snow, gusty winds along with coastal flooding. A strong area of low pressure is producing widespread rain on Friday night which will linger into Sunday morning.  Rainfall totals will be around .50"-2" through the weekend.  By Sunday afternoon, rainfall will wrap up just in time for Sunday night's Seahawks game at Lumen field.
