Seattle is facing an uncommonly late cold snap with temperatures expected to drop near freezing on Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Under a convergence zone late tonight, there might be pops of lowland snow late in extremely isolated places -- the latest Futurecast is pinpointing this in either King or Pierce Counties.

We are heading into a pretty classic spring weather setup across western Washington, which will bring a little bit of everything.

Under a convergence zone, there is a low-end chance for a rain-snow mix, even down into parts of the Puget Sound lowlands late Sunday night into very early Monday.

Highs will be a degree or two cooler Saturday with more cloud cover. Winds will be on the calm side with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Looking ahead to Saturday, we remain in a quieter pattern, but scattered showers will soon return to the Puget Sound region heading into the late weekend.

Highs will be a few degrees warmer Friday, reaching the mid to upper 50s with nice afternoon sunshine.

That partly sunny pattern continues into Saturday before clouds begin increasing on Sunday. By Monday, we introduce a slight chance for an isolated shower, though some sunshine will still mix in.

Thursday will be in the low 50s, which will be slightly below seasonal average. Sunshine will be around for the afternoon along with calmer winds.
