Mostly cloudy Thursday with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Shower chances increase into the afternoon/evening.

Friday turns even cooler with highs in the mid 60s, plus breezy conditions and periodic showers.

The Heat Advisory for western Washington continues through 11 p.m. Wednesday for highs in the 80s to low 90s.

The FOX 13 Weather Team has issued a Weather Alert Day for Tuesday and Wednesday as the days will be the hottest of the stretch during this time.

The hottest weather of the stretch is expected Tuesday. Seattle could tie or break its daily temperature record with afternoon highs near 92 degrees.

Saturday brought cooler weather conditions to the Puget Sound region, with many folks seeing a good 15-degree temperature drop compared to Friday.  Some will see a few morning clouds, especially along the coast, but afternoon highs will be warmer with many seeing temperatures near the low 80s. 

Looking ahead at the work week, there will be a Weather Alert Day as hot temperatures combine with dry conditions and elevated fire danger by Tuesday.

Onshore flow moves in on Saturday, which will bring clouds to start the weekend. It will be a mostly cloudy start to the day, but clouds will break up by the afternoon. Full 7-day forecast is now available.
