After experiencing smoky weather this weekend, cleaner air and cooler weather return to Seattle and Western Washington this week. 

Hazy skies keeping afternoon highs a little cooler area wide, in the 70s.  Onshore flow will continue to cool the coastline on Sunday with more of the cooler, fresher air set to arrive inland by Monday.

Warm and hazy skies will continue into the weekend with a cool-down headed our way by early next week with a chance for showers.

It will remain hot and hazy in Western Washington Friday as a ridge of high pressure continues to dominate the region.

NWCC is encouraging residents in WA and OR to stay alert, follow fire restrictions and report any smoke or fire immediately.

Heat and hazy skies continue Friday. Temperatures will top out again in the upper 80s to low 90s.

A strong ridge of high pressure over the Pacific Northwest will send temps soaring into the 90s Thursday for most of the central and south Puget Sound areas.
