Tuesday and Wednesday are looking mainly dry and cool, with cool afternoon temperatures.

A mix of moisture and cold air is expected to bring 1–3 inches of snow across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Upstate New York and much of New England, while middle New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine are expected to see 5–8 inches.

Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s with mostly cloudy skies into the afternoon.

The next few days look more dry than wet in the greater Seattle area, but heavier rain will hit later this week.

Monday is set to be the coldest day of the arctic air outbreak, where temperatures will be subzero across Montana, the Dakotas, Wyoming, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Calendars found in homes across the country usually say winter begins on Dec. 21, when in reality the season starts three weeks earlier on Dec. 1.

Another chilly night ahead for much of Western Washington as lows drop into the 30s once again.  Some locations will see some morning frost Monday as morning lows near freezing. 

Another round of dry weather to finish off this long holiday weekend. Blue skies and scattered clouds will stick around Sunday before wetter conditions roll in to start the work week.

Decreasing clouds overnight will allow for a chilly night and Sunday morning with some frosty pockets. 

Western Washingtonians are in for a dry start to the weekend, sunbreaks are on the horizon as area cities open overnight cold shelters.

After a few Thanksgiving Day showers, we enjoy some sunbreaks around the region on Friday.  Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s tonight and early Saturday morning.
