The first week of September will turn toasty by mid-week with highs back in the mid-80s as residents in the region start to look ahead at fall, including the last 8 p.m. sunset and the return of the 'Big Dark'.

Labor Day weekend in Seattle will bring a nice mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures remaining warm.

Temperatures Saturday will be a few degrees warmer with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds, with better afternoon sunbreaks.

Friday and the Labor Day weekend will be mainly dry and partly cloudy, with above-average temperatures.
