Cleanup underway after fuel spill into Indian Creek near Port Angeles, WA

A fuel spill cleanup began near Port Angeles today after a semi-truck overturned off Highway 101, sending a tanker into Indian Creek. The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. Governor Bob Ferguson called the accident "devastating" for Indian Creek and the Elwha River, stating he's closely monitoring the situation and plans to visit the site.

New orca calf spotted in Washington

Puget Sound whale watching groups are celebrating the new sighting of a new orca calf. The first sighting was near Port Townsend on Thursday, but was last seen off Port Angeles.
