Thursday morning will start off with some patchy fog along the coastal regions. A dry cold front will arrive pushing in a few high clouds, but skies will remain dry.

High pressure has rebuilt over the region, and that means we’re back to sunshine and mild temperatures in western Washington.

Our warming trend kicks in beginning Wednesday with mainly sunny skies forecast this week. The warmest days will be Sunday and Monday with highs around 80 degrees.

After a cool start to the week, Western Washington will turn the corner to warmer and sunnier weather starting Wednesday.

The strong onshore flow push continues into Tuesday with continued cloudy skies. The chance for some spotty drizzle continues too, as moisture increases some with the westerly winds off the Pacific.

A stubborn onshore flow paired with a ridge parked along the British Columbia coast is keeping Western Washington in a mostly cloudy, cool pattern to start the week.

Monday and Tuesday will start off with more stubborn morning clouds as the marine layer settles in.

The overall pattern will remain quiet into early next week, with only minor changes. Monday and Tuesday will bring morning clouds followed by afternoon sun breaks.

Highs will be in the mid 60s Saturday with plenty of sunshine ahead of a cooling evening that may require you to cover your plants.
