Clouds to start Monday, afternoon sunbreaks with highs in the low 70s.

We're forecasting a gorgeous stretch of weather in Seattle for the first official week of autumn.

Increasing clouds on Sunday with a chance for a stray shower mainly north Puget Sound on Sunday afternoon as a weak disturbance moves to our north. Rainfall amounts will be generally light with only a few hundredths of an inch expected.

This week will likely feature the final stretch of 70 degree weather in Seattle for 2024!

A cool night ahead as skies will continue to clear out.  Lows are forecast to drop into the upper 40s to low 50s.  Some patchy fog may develop overnight. 

The influence of La Niña is expected to dominate weather conditions from December through February, according to NOAA. This often translates to wetter conditions in the northern tier of the country, while the southern tier may face drier-than-average weather.

Friday and Saturday will be mainly dry for Western Washington, with rain showers back in the forecast for some on Sunday.

The weather will be absolutely beautiful in Seattle and Western Washington this week. You can plan on highs in the mid 60s through Monday with partly sunny skies today through Saturday. Showers are possible Sunday and Monday.

Morning patchy fog and low clouds will be around to start Thursday, but will slowly give way to sunbreaks in the afternoon.
