Seattle weather: Sunshine and 80s stick around Friday

Highs today were cooler compared to the heat wave we were dealing with over the last week. Temperatures were still above average, topping out in the mid to low 80s.

Seattle weather: Consistent warm summer weather ahead

A very consistent weather pattern will keep Western Washington under sunshine and warm temperatures for at least the next seven to ten days.

A wildfire in Chelan County more than doubled in size in just the last few days. The Department of Natural Resources has placed a statewide burn ban, saying that the recent hot weather has made the region bone dry and ripe for wildfires.
