The FOX 13 Weather Team has issued a Weather Alert Day for Tuesday and Wednesday as the days will be the hottest of the stretch during this time.

The hottest weather of the stretch is expected Tuesday. Seattle could tie or break its daily temperature record with afternoon highs near 92 degrees.

Saturday brought cooler weather conditions to the Puget Sound region, with many folks seeing a good 15-degree temperature drop compared to Friday.  Some will see a few morning clouds, especially along the coast, but afternoon highs will be warmer with many seeing temperatures near the low 80s. 

Looking ahead at the work week, there will be a Weather Alert Day as hot temperatures combine with dry conditions and elevated fire danger by Tuesday.

Onshore flow moves in on Saturday, which will bring clouds to start the weekend. It will be a mostly cloudy start to the day, but clouds will break up by the afternoon. Full 7-day forecast is now available.

Tuesday will be a Weather Alert Day as residents should prepare for significant heat and elevated fire danger.

With abundant sunshine expected, fans should plan ahead for the heat by staying hydrated, wearing sunscreen, and seeking shade when possible.

Temperatures Thursday will be warming into the upper 70s to low 80s with plenty of sunshine.

Friday will bring ideal conditions for soccer fans attending the Team USA vs. Australia match in Seattle. Even hotter weather is forecast next workweek.

Another push of morning clouds for Wednesday, but the afternoon will see plenty of sunshine with highs in the 70s.
